National Online Learning Day

The importance of continual learning cannot be overemphasized! And yet, many business people seem to be content with what they’ve already learned about their chosen profession and the business of business!

After 51 years of experience in sales, sales management, and sales coaching, I’ve learned a lot about selling, maybe more than most people do. Still, I’ve chosen to be a lifelong learner. I have a sales coach of my own and tune into a daily class that he teaches on Facebook Live. I read sales books, which are readily available online, watch webinars about sales, and watch videos about sales on YouTube. The amount of material that is available online is astounding. And the value in investing time in online learning isn’t that I hear all kinds of new things that I’ve never heard before. The value is to be reminded to do things that I know I should be doing and have not been doing.

Knowledge and skill never remain static.  You’re either gaining them or losing them.  Lifelong learning is the only way to make sure that you’re on the increase.
